The name of this place has changed several times over the years, but for many of us, it will always be remembered as the place where countless memories were made. It began as Asahi Optical (Phils.) Corporation in 1991. As the company evolved, it became PENTAX Cebu Phils. Corporation around 2002, then Pentax Ricoh Imaging Products (Philippines) Corporation in 2011, and since 2013 has been known as RICOH Imaging Products (Philippines) Corporation. I was fortunate to be part of this journey from February 1991 to May 2008—more than 17 years of learning, growing, and creating memories. Those years were more than just a career; they became a significant chapter of my life. Through every name change, one thing remained constant—the people. Colleagues became friends, mentors shaped careers, and ordinary workdays turned into moments worth remembering. As the years passed, people came and went, each carrying with them stories, friendships, lessons, laughter, and memories that no corporate name could ever replace. Names may change, buildings may evolve, and generations of employees may move on, but the experiences shared within these walls will forever remain in the hearts of those who were once part of its journey. No matter what name we remember it by, it will always be a place we once called our second home. 🏠💖
